In the Washington forest, an 18-year-old Ezekiel and his best friend Emil try their best to navigate the end of high school, their turbulent home lives, and their feelings toward one another. This is further complicated when they gain access to a magical portal in the woods that transports them somewhere they can not retain memory of.
